Pinochet croaks

So finally Pinochet died. He also managed to escape justice for the deaths that can be traced to him or to his actions and his words. We can also look over at Cuba where another dictator is slowly croaking and also will reach the grave without having to account for his crimes, for the tens of thousands of people that died through his orders, words or actions.

When the anal left will stop saying that the crimes of Pinochet are worse than those of Castro, then that day we might be able to start punishing all dictators. And we might actually stop a few to become dictators like Chavez would love to become. Heck, he already tried in 1992. Just like Pinochet, against an elected government, a government who by the way had gained more than 50% of the electorate whereas Allende never made it above 40%. Food for thought. Not to mention that Pinochet did release power whereas Castro made sure he never would have to be faced with such a prospect (and Chavez is trying very hard to do the same).

In a world of double standards we all end up paying.

-The end-
