Otro mas para la sección "se cuenta y no se cree"

Parece que el inefable Jesse Chacon de GIS XXI  hizo encuestas sobre el cáncer de Chavez antes de que este lo confirmase.  Todavía no entiendo como periódicos como Europa Press repiten sin cuestionar encuestas como las de GIS XXI.  Porque no es la primera vez que se pela la GIS....

Muchas fuentes de informacion nada mas reproducen las mentiras del gobierno Chavista como si fueran hechos veridicos y sin hacer comentario alguno, asi que la gente manipuladora "cree" en el deber de publicar " la verdad" sin opiniones-Pero ellos mismos esconden sus opiniones politicas en la omision.

    el asunto es que ya van varias veces que europa press desinforma sobre venezuela. un corresponsal nuevo merece un "learning curve period" pero ya europa press se esta pareciendo a un pasquín pro chavez.

  3. Guys don’t be so hard on Jesse, here is the explanation:

    Among the 2500 people interviewed are the cabinet and their families, all of the PSUV congressman & congresswoman, all of the military honor guard, and all of the Cubans that work for Chavez & Jesse himself, (The technical spec of the survey does not indicate only Venezuelan citizen where asked. At least they didn’t ask for proof of citizenship) There you have it is possible that by June 27th they all knew what Chavez had. Here you have it explained..!

    On the other hand, I don’t think Jesse or GISXXI are interested on lying or massaging the technical spec-sheet of the surveys, they are more interested on Changing, or massaging the data itself, and accommodate the results. It is called Creative Surveying. So to be fair with Jesse, the Spec-sheet is CORRECT now the results of the survey? I’m not so sure.

    No es que quiera defender a europapress, pero hay una diferencia entre las noticias y las verdades.

    Cuando Chávez dijo que el capitalismo acabó con los marcianos, aquí hay una noticia y dos (posibles) verdades. La noticia es lo que dijo el presidente de un país. La primera verdad es que Chávez si lo dijo, en vivo por televisión, y lo dijo como si estuviera hablando en serio, y la otra posible verdad es si el capitalismo acabó o no con los marcianos.

    En el caso de las estupideces que dice GIS XXI, la noticia es que una conocida encuestadora dice algo, y la primera verdad es la lista de lo que la "encuestadora" dice. El hecho que la veracidad de las encuestas del GIS XXI es tan fácil de cuestionar como lo de los marcianos capitalistas, no es parte de la noticia.

    No se le puede cuestionar a europapress el repetir los resultados de una encuesta. Eso es una noticia, y la única función de los periodistas debe ser asegurarse de que lo que dicen que dijo GIS XXI es en verdad lo que dijo. Ellos no tienen por que añadir al artículo ningún intento de descalificar la calidad de las encuestas de GIS XXI por mas obvia que sea su falsedad. Eso sería editorializar las noticias.

    Lo que si no se le puede perdonar a europapress es el hecho que no mencionan que todos y cada uno de los representantes de GIS XXI son, o han sido, altos funcionarios del gobierno de Chávez.
