THE REASON BEHIND THIS BLOG
Over the last few weeks I have written reports to describe the situation in Venezuela. I live here, in San Felipe, Yaracuy State, and spend long stretches of time in Caracas. Some people suggested that I post my letters to make them more widely and easily available. So I am doing it. I will post some of the things I wrote since December 1. I have edited very slightly some of the posts to adapt them for this format, not changing the intention of the initial post.
I hope that this will help folks understand what is really going on in Venezuela.
