The idiots at Correo del Orinoco

Today Leopoldo Lopez and Maria Corina Machado registered their names officially for the primaries.  That meant hey brought a big fat check and for MCM who has no party behind her, 200,000 signatures.  Looking through the news tonight I run into the account by Correo del Orinoco, one of the chavista rags that self qualifies as "artilleria del pensamiento" (gunnery of the thinking?).  To bring you up to speed, this is the newspaper that has an English section edited by Eva Golinger.  Now you know.

The article was rather pathetic.  I mean, I know that they are supposed to critique MCM.  But gosh, they could do a better job of it.

Instead of focusing on her offer, controversial enough even within La Unidad, they focused on her admitting that she had to work hard at getting her 200,000 signatures.  Of course they forgot to mention that it does not matter how many signatures you bring to Chavez or to the National Assembly, if they do not like it you wasted your time.  They insisted on her not knowing the price of a subway ticket, forgetting to mention that nobody remembers the last time Chavez actually was on a street one on one with bus drivers or subway commuters as they traveled.  Not to mention forgetting that the subway is collapsing due to Chavez unwillingness to deal with it.  They also commented on her sartorial chic.

Each day I am more impressed at how vacuous chavismo has become,  not that they were very creative ever, but it seems that since Uh Ah Chavez no se va, it has been downhill.

I mean, Correo del Orinoco is a rag at tax payer expenses..........  gimme a break Eva....

it seems that since Uh Ah Chavez no se va, it has been downhill.

Masterful juxtaposition of two languages, as "uh" can be used in either English or Spanish. In English: "it seems that since uh..the judges chanted and ranted that silly thing about Chavez not going...it has been downhill."

Or: "it seems that since uh..."Uh Ah Chavez no se va"...it has been downhill."
