Today's recommended reading on Venezuela

I had been thinking about a summary article about the fast changing outlook in the Venezuela situation now that Chavez has disposed of Jose Vicente Range and that he goes unhinged about his business of Supremo building. But procrastination pays and Gustavo Coronel has an excellent and complete piece that tells us "por donde vienen los tiros" (from where the shots are coming from). Do not miss it. The crumbling Hugo Chávez power equation.

PS: Oh! and do not miss this lovely editorial of the Post on one of Chavez favorite friends and role models, Putin. Could it be the type of nominations that Chavez has in mind to control Venezuela? Heck, he already gave us for Vice President that graduate from the Hannibal Lecter School of Psychiatry...

This is an anti Chavez/chavismo blog, Readers have made up their minds long ago. Trying to prove us wrong is considered a troll. Still, you are welcome as a chavista to post if you want to explain us coherently as to why chavismo does this or that. We are still waiting for that to happen.
Insults and put downs are frowned upon and I will be sole judge on whether to publish them.
