Some rats are making sure to be seen leaving the ship, even if it is a few years late

After Aponte^2 bel canto feat, another judge who escaped Venezuela long ago decided to sing.  At least this one at the end of the interview had the good sense to express his regrets which we have not seen in Aponte^2 interview.

What to make Luis Velazquez Alvaray later day saint confession?

First, he does not say anything really new, except for a few blanks left, around specific people's name.

That Jose Vicente Rangel was the mastermind of the assassination and cover up of Danilo Anderson?  After so many years, it was the only possible explanation left.  Eve this blog advanced that long ago.

That the FARC has an office next door Miraflores Palace?  We saw in and out Ivan Marquez.

That drug traffic permeates all of Venezuela army and judicial powers?  What else is news?

That no decision is made without Chavez knowledge and approval?  Watch his followers hanging from any tweet of @chavezcandanga.

Two questions/comments really:

Why must we go through similar shows over and over again?  Because the justice system is exactly how it is described in these interviews and of course they are taking a perverse form of Vth amendment.  No investigation is to be hoped for the foreseeable future, unless you can show me judges that self incarcerate.

Why now Luis?  Because there is a succession war in Venezuela and one side is using Aponte^2 and LVA to damage other factions chances.

And thus what we would really like to know: who is pulling these ex fugitive judges strings?  From what LVA says it would seem that the target is Maduro and JVR who may be promoting Maduro like he promoted Chavez a decade and a half ago.  But who is pulling? The Castros?  The narco generals?  Diosdado? The famiglia? XYZ?  All would benefit from such revelations but all could also be hurt badly.  I confess that the more I read about these things the less I perceive.

Cui bono? How about the American Government to spread confusion within the Chavista nomenklatura. After all, they have done that sort of psyops over and over again all over the planet and the two ex-TSJ singing birds are under their thumb these days. I rather doubt that any faction in power in Caracas is telling these two what to say. The overall objective is to smear as wide as possible. However smearing is not necessary. All the shit is spread in the open for any one to see (and smell).

Dirty birds singing. Repeating what has been chirped before from various sources. But still no really damaging actual physical evidence. Thats where some really good investigative journalism is required to unearth it and to publish it.

    1. it is not that easy to get good hard evidence. these criminals are good and certainly benefited from the extensive experience of the FARC and Castro on how to hide the money.

  3. Why now, Luis?
I suspect that once LVA was assured protection from the DEA, against possible G2's circling like vultures, he came out to spill the beans.
Insofar as asking forgiveness from the Vzlan public, LVA has had 6 years to ruminate (and to get a hair transplant), whereas AA was on the lam and in a hyper state.
    Neither should be forgiven. Ever.

    1. Another possible scenario is that which follows the money. LVA knows, that as a former and active member of Ch.'s corrupt clan, now under the DEA's magnifying glass, his assets will be frozen. He chooses to strike a deal, and inspired by the singing from a once-colleague in crime, LVA does a me-too.

    2. the hair.... i wanted to mention that but i did not want to sound meaner than what i tend to sound. not only transplanted but colored. if this is what you get from the witness protection program.......

    3. when someone has profited from playing with the lives of many, then goes out and enhances his or her image, all courtesy bets are off. I don't know if the witness protection program operates outside the US, i.e., Costa Rica. Somehow I doubt it.

  4. "unless you can show me judges that self incarcerate"

We knew that was impossible years ago, back when Chavez packed the TSJ with new justices and that action was challenged. The decision was referred to the TSJ, and somehow they saw fit to have the entire new TSJ review the decision. So essentially, these brand-new justices were given a referendum which boiled down to: "Would you like to keep your job?" And that was an explicit question, not implicit, as in, "If you don't do what Chavez wants, you'll be out of work."

I know Daniel meant that as a joke, but there is nothing but self-interest in these "justices." And I think that is the answer to the question in the alst paragraph. These guys see the chance to get off lightly, versus the likelihood of major punsihment if they continue, and they are taking it.

If we lived in an "ordinary world"..but no, we live in Cubazuela-with truth interpreted as a religion of chavista socialism handed down by the Spirit Mogul of everything -Chavez himself.

These ex-Judges are like strings out of tune on a guitar- music will never sound right. And here we are trying to sing along, humming and foot-tapping and looking rediculous.
These ex-Judges are the death blow for chavismo.
    Yes, bring forth some more....
Nothing says SNAFU -quite like ex-Judges.

This is an anti Chavez/chavismo blog, Readers have made up their minds long ago. Trying to prove us wrong is considered a troll. Still, you are welcome as a chavista to post if you want to explain us coherently as to why chavismo does this or that. We are still waiting for that to happen.
Insults and put downs are frowned upon and I will be sole judge on whether to publish them.
