First update
As I am ready to go and vote I get the following information:
1- One of my brothers who votes in Macaracuay went to vote at 3:30 AM. His voting table has just opened!!!!! The digital fingerprinting was not working and they had to wait until now to get authorization to start voting!!! What a coincidence! In an anti Chavez neighborhood! But he is in line, a humongous line and people are not leaving!!!!
2- Another brother has not gone to vote yet as he is watching my young niece while his wife went at 6 AM to help her elderly and sickly father go and vote. He told me that he could not sleep tonight and stayed watching TV until around 4 AM. At 3 AM the state TV played the military wake up call of Maisanta (the Chavez campaign commando...). He also told me that all night an assortment of petards have been exploding in the popular areas not too far from where he lives, keeping all awake, we suppose to vote bright and early for Chavez. Really.......
3- I just read Miguel who is reporting from his T-motion (a wireless system we use to send E-mails in Venezuela). He is reporting exactly the same type of problems that I have already been mentioning.
Oh well, maybe I should take with me my straw hat and a water bottle...
