In the "famous last words series"
Chavez said that we were "blindado" from the world crisis and vaunted his attachment to China and Russia. Apparently no one told him that Russia, China and Venezuela depend from the West for their prosperity. This week Russian stocks were hit hard, China got into trouble and oil hit 80 USD a barrel. Weil gives us a lovely cartoon to commemorate the occasion where Chavez once again lost a wonderful opportunity to remain silent.
