Pompeyo Marquez on JVR, the Vice

OK, I could not resist one more tidbit.

Pompeyo who knows many of these people since they were born said that he doubts that Chavez will leave the front scene for JVR if he were to leave after August 19. Thus if there is a referendum it will be before August 19. More evidence for an early election announcement tonight? Which by the way is my pick of all scenarios involving some democratic process: Chavez cannot tolerate any shadow over his leadership path. He would rather go down in flames taking all of them with him than chance an heir to the "bolivarian revolution". You know what? Considering the quality of the few "heir apparent" I can see his point...
